Terms of Use

Last updated / Ostatnia aktualizacja: 16 September 2026

1. The app

Privio is local software: an encrypted vault on your device. These terms govern your use of that software. They are not a cloud-hosting agreement. There is no Privio user account.

Your files are protected by encryption.

Encryption reduces the risk that someone who copies the app files can read them without your PIN or backup password. It is not a promise that the app is unhackable, or that a lost PIN can be recovered by the operator.

2. Your responsibilities

You choose the PIN, optional biometrics, and any backup password. If you forget them, the operator cannot reset the vault for you. Keep backups you care about in a place you control.

You are responsible for what you store, for the device passcode, and for copies you export, share, or save as .privio files. Do not use Privio to store content you are not allowed to possess.

An optional second PIN unlocks a separate local vault on this device. You decide whether to use that feature and what you put in each vault.

3. Network features

The app may check a version manifest over HTTPS and may download pdf.js from a CDN when you preview a PDF, as described in the Privacy Policy. Expo Updates are disabled. Privio does not upload your vault, except a user-initiated encrypted .privio file if you choose Backup to Google Drive. Optional product analytics to PostHog (EU) run only if you opt in in Settings.

4. Availability and changes

The operator may publish a minimum version. If this build is below that minimum and the device can reach the manifest, the app may refuse to open until you install a store update.

The operator may change the app, these terms, or the privacy policy. A new in-app acceptance version may be required before creating or restoring a vault.

5. Disclaimer

Privio is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. The operator does not warrant uninterrupted operation, that backups you fail to keep will be recoverable, or that a compromised device (malware, physical access while unlocked, screenshots, or another app reading the clipboard) cannot expose vault contents.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law in your country of residence says you cannot waive, including mandatory guarantees where they apply.

6. Contact

The operator of the Privio app is identified technically as m-mlynarczyk87. Hosted policy and version check: https://static.priviomobile.app. Publisher identity on the App Store and Google Play listings, once published, is the contact channel for store and privacy notices. There is no in-app server mailbox.
